RECIPE: EASTER GRASS
An easy alternative
to the plastic strands of "easter grass" sold in stores.
You will need: WHEAT BERRIES, usually in bulk section of your natural food store, a BASKET OR CONTAINER, and a little bit of POTTING SOIL, WATER and SUNSHINE.
Fill container of choice with soil to about 2 inces below rim to allow for growing roots and plenty of Easter treats. Spinkle with berries, lightly cover and water and keep moist. Takes any where from 10 days to 2 weeks to be green and lovely. Wheat grass is edible too!
